ANGRY INUK has won the Vimeo On Demand Audience Award & $25,000 Canadian Documentary Promotion Award at the 2016 Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival. Congratulations director Alethea Arnaquq-Baril and everyone involved with the film! ANGRY INUK is about how Inuit hunters in arctic communities are negatively affected by animal rights groups protesting against the Canadian east coast seal hunt.

The Berlin International Film Festival- Berlinale February 11-20th, 2016 will be screening Qapirangijuq: Inuit Knowledge and Climate Change – By Zacharias Kunuk and Ian Mauro as part of the transition of Berlinale NATIVe focus on Latin America last year to the Arctic as next year’s geographical focus!
