Nunavut Film is Hiring a Projects Manager
The Nunavut Film Development Corporation is seeking a Projects Manager.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the implementation of business and strategic plans; managing funding processes; managing the Nunavut Film office; and establishing effective partnerships. In addition, there will be considerable emphasis on marketing our homegrown filmmakers and Nunavut’s screen industry.
To be considered for this position you should have a strong working knowledge of the screen-based industry and be highly organized with strong communication skills (creative writing/ editing/ managing/ social media). The successful candidate will also have experience evaluating and managing projects and budgets, a knowledge of funding agencies related to the industry, and be able to develop projects and programs including the writing of proposals.
Ideally you would have a degree in film, media studies, communication or another related degree with experience working in the cultural industries. Candidates with an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated abilities and experience will be given equal consideration. Closing date for applications is March 28, 2025.
Other Information:
Fluency in Inuktitut a definite asset.
Salary- $85,000 per annum depending on experience.
32 hours per week
Four weeks vacation.
